New CHHAPS awards for 2026!
- The Breed Ambassador Award will be presented to those people who have devoted themselves to public promotion, education, and breed representation through breed demonstrations, displays, social media advocacy, showcases, and appearances.
- The Youth Ambassador Award will be presented to young riders (under 21) who inspire other young riders in our quest to celebrate this amazing breed.
- The Volunteer Award will be presented to deserving members who have embodied the spirit of the Iron Horse by tirelessly giving of their time and energy through organizational, operational, and logistical support – thereby ensuring that every event, fundraiser, rescue, or committee runs smoothly.
- These last three brand new awards are based on nominations, decided by committee, and will be presented once a year at our Annual General Meeting.
